This leads to a pseudo-lay back, forgetting that diagnosis and biomechanics is the key for a successful treatment and that adequate time should be spend for those. Moreover, unfortunately patients monitoring is \u201ctransferred\u201d to digitization, with less chair time and less visits. This presentation will try to guide you through my mistakes and learning curve and set some limits, into what is expected and what is the real outcome from an excellent system of \u201cbeing lazy\u201d, but with responsibility.<\/p><p><strong>Short Curriculum Vitae<\/strong><\/p><p>He was born in 1971 in Nicosia. and studied at the Dental School of Thessaloniki in the years 1990-1996, from where he received his Dental degree<\/p><p>In the years 1996-1998, he worked at the Paedodontics program of the Aristotle University and was a collaborator of the Pathology and Therapeutics section.<\/p><p>He specialized in Orthodontics at Tel-Aviv University during the years 1998-2002 in all modern techniques and at the same time undertook a clinical Master in relation to the skeletal widening of the maxilla.<\/p><p>In the research field, he has published papers in Greek and American dental and orthodontic journals as well as made presentations at local and international conferences.<\/p><p>He is an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Word Federation of Orthodontists, MOIP ambassador, Balkan Association of Orthodontic Specialists, European Aligner Society, Greek Orthodontic Aligner Society and the board of the Cyprus Orthodontic Society.<\/p><p>He maintains private practices in Nicosia and Larnaca, together with his wife Ioli, where they exclusively practice Orthodontics for children and adults with all existing techniques.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>17o \u0394\u03b9\u03b5\u03b8\u03bd\u03ad\u03c2 \u03a3\u03c5\u03bc\u03c0\u03cc\u03c3\u03b9\u03bf &#8211; \u039f\u03bc\u03b9\u03bb\u03b7\u03c4\u03ad\u03c2 Dr. Stathis Efstathiou Treatment diagnosis and aligners: realities and considerations through my learning curve Passing through the gate from fixed appliances to aligners comes with a lack of knowledge, new realities and often more expectations from a highly digital system.
